In the industry-standard nail penetration test, the Blade Battery showed no fire or explosion, while conventional NCM batteries typically caught fire and reached temperatures exceeding 500 degrees Celsius.

BYD claims the Blade Battery can withstand over 3,000 charge cycles while retaining 80% of its capacity. This translates to a potential lifespan of over 1.2 million kilometers.
