BYD is not resting on its laurels. The company has an aggressive product roadmap for 2025 and beyond, with several new models poised to enter global markets.
Sea Lion 07
The Sea Lion 07 is BYD’s upcoming mid-size electric SUV, positioned above the Atto 3. It features the latest e-Platform 3.0 Evo with 800V architecture, enabling charging speeds of up to 240 kW.
Super e-Platform
BYD recently unveiled its Super e-Platform, supporting charging at up to 1,000 kW. This technology can add 400 km of range in just 10 minutes, addressing one of the last remaining barriers to EV adoption.
Autonomous Driving
BYD is investing heavily in autonomous driving technology through its Yangwang and Fang Cheng Bao brands. The company plans to offer Level 3 autonomous capabilities in select markets by late 2025.
Market Expansion
BYD aims to enter the North American market by 2026, either through direct sales or partnerships. The company is also expanding its European dealer network with a target of 500 locations by 2027.
